If you come across something that you want re-upped just let me know.

BWboogiewoodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06565453839281572426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-661655599191402760.post-1332295856596204132018-05-02T23:19:58.752+01:002018-05-02T23:19:58.752+01:00BW - Thanks for your explanation on scanning LP co...BW - Thanks for your explanation on scanning LP covers. From now on I'll have a still GREATER appreciation of everything you do on here. If you run across anything in these posts that needs re-upped (again!) please let me know. Re-ups aren't a problem for me since I got high speed broadband a couple of months ago.

Scanning an LP cover: I have a normal size scanner so I need to make 4 scans of a cover to produce a merged complete cover. I use Photofiltre (a free program) to do the 4 scans then I use another free program, Microsoft's Image Composite Editor (ICE) which takes these 4 scans of different parts of the cover and merges them into a complete image of the cover. I used to do the whole thing manually with Photofiltre but ICE is a very convenient tool.

It's quite a laborious process and I often wish I had more expertise in using graphic programs.

BWboogiewoodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06565453839281572426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-661655599191402760.post-6673862075835636072018-05-02T22:33:53.220+01:002018-05-02T22:33:53.220+01:00Thanks for re-upping this! I'm looking forward to the other re-ups and more great music from you. BTW...just how DOES one scan an LP? Regular scanners don't handle it.soulpapahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11770059633774352794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-661655599191402760.post-53606260704866023922014-11-03T01:02:42.147+00:002014-11-03T01:02:42.147+00:00Excellent!
