Cheers, folks! I'll start searching around for tracks for a new comp.

I'll suggest including "My Baby's Gone" by the Ravens. Ricks' vocal is smoldering... Makes me all goosebumpy :^)

"My Baby's Gone" - I thought I didn't have that on vinyl, but it turns out that I do - on that great 2LP set "Okeh Rhythm & Blues" which came out back in 1982. So you never know ...

That truly IS a great set. Got me started in this music. For a laugh, check out The Ravens' Phantom Stage Coach [misspelled Stage "Couch" on the 78!] Surprisingly :^) it was not a hit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5equM1etxY
"My Baby's Gone" is just a thought, not a request. Seems to be on a bunch of my own mixes already... Love this site. Thanks for all you do here.

Cheers swboy. Phantom Stage Coach is something else. I came across your Crap Jazz Covers blog. Shocking taste in comments and labels. I love it.
